The Trust has been sent a copy of an absolutely splendid silhouette of John Cobbold which we reproduce here.

Each year the Trust produces a greetings card without a greeting! It is left blank so that it can be used at other times of the year as well as Christmas.

The Trust reported in June that it had purchased the catalogue (2004) for an Exhibition of East Anglian Silver 1550-1750. This book revealed that William Cobbold was one of the leading Goldsmiths in Norwich. This was previously a 'News' item Jul 07

It is self evident to me that remembering those that have fallen is a prime task for a trust that is dedicated to collecting and conserving family history. Accordingly nine Cobbold family members assembled (with thousands of others) in Whitehall for the annual national Remembrance Ceremony at the Cenotaph.

The amateur club in Ipswich was founded on 16th October 1878 at a meeting in the Town Hall. It was promoted mainly by old boys of Ipswich School which had been playing football to Association rules since 1874…..

Many families have developed powerful links with Caius by sending their sons (and now daughters) here for many generations……
