The Cobbold Family History Trust (CFHT) is exempt from Notification but collects and processes personal information only in accordance with the eight principles laid down in the Act. The CFHT is a Registered Charity formed as far as The Data Protection Act is concerned for the purpose of continuously compiling and updating the Cobbold Family Tree. Personal information is used for this and immediately related purposes only and will never be disclosed to any other organisation. For the purposes of the Act the Data Controller is The Cobbold Family History Trust at CFHT, The Estate Offices, Knebworth House, Knebworth, HERTS SG3 6PY. Individuals may request that their personal information be removed by contacting the CFHT by post, telephone (01438 810937) or email cobboldtrust@knebworthhouse.com which are also the methods by which the CFHT may contact individuals.
