The Move to Knebworth
The first consignment comprising 9 filing cabinets and about 90 box files has arrived at Knebworth safely. The final tranche including a further 6 cabinets, 85 box files, 30 plastic boxes, about 600 books and exhibition equipment is booked for transfer in the last week of September. We are currently busy ensuring that everything is in good order before departure.
Our request for financial help with meeting the removal costs has been generously answered and we would like to express our sincere thanks to the donors. It is a considerable comfort to know that we are now able to meet those costs without undue stress.
Huge thanks are expressed also to those who have standing orders in favour of the Trust’s endowment fund, some of which have been running for a long time; please know that your generosity is very much appreciated. There will be no change to the bank details as a result of the move. Those who have supported us by using Amazon Smile will be glad to know that we have received their contribution from Amazon and again we are truly grateful.
We would also like to put on record our thanks to the many who have helped with preparation for the move and for the many letters received expressing thanks and goodwill.
