We have just added on Amazon a new book by the founder of the Trust, Anthony Cobbold. Published by the Trust, it is an autobiography written primarily for his grandchildren (of which he says there seem to be rather a lot!).
It includes a chapter titled ‘You cannot put a price on a family archive,’ quoted from the BBC Antiques Roadshow of May 2010. This chapter and three appendices describe the early days of the Trust, give it a timeline and provide a listing of some of the extraordinary and influential people on the family tree. An easy and useful reference. Of course we recommend it!
